Keepers of the Lineage: Meet Your Hosts

We do not believe in superficial theories. We believe in living proof. VedYogLife is not a commercial resort managed by corporate staff; it is our private family homestead, our sanctuary, and our life’s devotion. Every spiritual practice, morning VedYog session, and Ayurveda healing program is directed entirely by us. In the traditional architecture of Vedic society, those carrying the heavy burdens of worldly responsibility always relied on the quiet counsel of the Brahmin—the keepers of scriptural truth, Ayurveda medicine, and psychological alignment. We invite you into our home to experience an elemental reclamation of who you are in your very origin.

Guru Acharya Ajay Sharma

Resident Ayurvedic Physician & Lineage Master

Guru Acharya Ajay Sharma was born and raised in these very mountains, a traditional Brahmin lineage master carrying the unbroken medicine of the Himalayas in his blood. He has spent over 30 years dedicated to the absolute mastery of traditional Vedic Yoga, scriptural truth, pranayama, and Ayurvedic medicine.

As a resident physician, Acharya Ajay does not offer superficial wellness trends. He specialises in the ancient science of Ayurveda, Panchakarma detoxification and targeted Marma oil therapies. Utilising the clinical depth of Vedic Psychology as his primary therapeutic tool, he works directly with the subconscious mind to bypass the superficial layers of contemporary self-help—dismantling deep-seated executive fatigue, ancestral trauma, and structural misalignments within an individual's life. Over the past three decades, he has guided hundreds of leaders, entrepreneurs, and seekers, helping them unlock their true potential and stand firmly aligned with their Dharma (life purpose).

Lucy — Devika

Co-Founder & Keeper of the Sacred Origin: Ayurvedic Pregnancy and Sacred Birth Transmission

Lucy — Devika is an ex professional violinist from London. In 2016, her spirit brought her from the hyper-visible, fast-paced world of the West to India. She arrived as a young woman suffering from haemochromatosis, a chronic metabolic condition of severe iron overload with no conventional cure. Meeting Acharya Ajay at his centre in South Goa, her life completely transformed. Through his medical guidance—undergoing intensive Ayurveda Panchakarma, learning traditional Vedic Yoga, and committing to a profound, complete lifestyle overhaul—her body completely recovered and healed.

Upon entering this traditional lineage, she received her Sanskrit name, Devika—meaning "Little Goddess" or "The Divine Current," a constant reminder of the unseen force that guides our original nature back into alignment. Devika acts as the intuitive and psychological bridge for our guests. Having walked entirely outside the hyper-visible Western matrix, she deeply understands the modern exhaustion, physical performance pressure, consumer dependencies, and cognitive over-stimulation you are seeking to exit.

Devika holds the maternal container of the sanctuary. She specialises in consciously guiding women through the sacred thresholds of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum transition. Rooted deeply in the traditional teachings of Veda yoga and ancestral Ayurveda, her guidance provides a quiet, unhurried space for mothers to cultivate deep vitality, emotional grounding, and bodily sovereignty as they transition into the sacred realm of Motherhood.

Our Children: Arya, Jaya, and Indi

The Living Future

True sustainability is intergenerational. Together, Ajay and Devika have three children—Arya, Jaya, and Indi—who are being raised entirely under traditional Vedic values and the laws of nature.

Our children are not formally schooled; instead, they learn through raw, practical life experience and follow their own true inner voice. They spend their unhurried days completely absorbed in the surrounding nature—watering the organic gardens, bird watching, identifying the many different species of insects and wildlife, swimming in our bio-filtered natural pool, and caring for our ashram animals, including our dogs and our horse. They are the living heartbeat of VedYogLife, proving to the families who visit us that a clear, peaceful, and alternative life is entirely possible.
